Account & data deletion
How to delete your TopPair account and the data linked to it
1. Delete your account in the app (recommended)
You can delete your account yourself at any time, directly in TopPair:
- Open TopPair and sign in
- Go to Profile
- Tap Delete account
- Confirm with your password
Your account and all associated data are then permanently deleted right away. This cannot be undone.
2. If you can’t sign in
If you have uninstalled the app or can no longer access your account, send a deletion request to the contact address listed in our Imprint. Please include the e-mail address or player ID of the account you want deleted, so we can identify it. We will delete the account within 30 days.
3. What gets deleted
Deleting your account permanently removes:
- Your account data — e-mail address, username, display name and login credentials
- Your training and game progress — lessons, achievements, statistics and ELO rating
- Your game and hand history
- Your virtual chip balance (play money with no monetary value)
None of this can be recovered after deletion.
4. What may be kept for a short time
A few records are not tied to your account and may persist briefly, for security or because they are held by third parties:
- Server logs (IP address, timestamp) — up to 14 days, for IT security
- Error and crash diagnostics — up to 30 days
- Purchase records — kept by Apple or Google under their own policies; we do not store your payment data
- Aggregated, anonymised usage statistics that cannot be linked back to you
5. More information
For details on how we process personal data, see our Privacy Policy. Contact details are listed in our Imprint.
